Job Title: Marketing Intern
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Employment Status: Part-Time Summer Intern
Reports To: Marketing Manager
Summary: Provide marketing development for our diverse list of clients under the direction of the Marketing Manager and Office Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the design, development, and implementation of marketing projects focused on manufacturing engineering projects.
Job Functions:
- Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks
- Refine messaging
- Create value statements
- Create elevator speech content
- Create a marketing presentation
- Research leads
- Update company LinkedIn
- Develop content plan and generation
- Case Study format and development
- Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g., direct mail and web)
- Prepare detailed promotional presentations
- Research and evaluate competitor marketing and digital content
- Contribute to the creation of mock-ups, email campaigns, and web content
- Help distribute marketing materials
- Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns
Requirements:
- Current or recent prior enrollment in an undergraduate course for Marketing, Business or similar field
- Interest in technical writing
- Familiarity with marketing computer software and LinkedIn
- Good understanding of the latest marketing trends and techniques
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have a passion for marketing
- Outstanding multitasking abilities
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently on projects
Hours:
- Part time in our office in Pikesville
- Approximately 24-32 hours per week
- Position is flexible, with an approximate start date of June 9 ending August 15
