Warehouse Associate
Warehouse Associate | Seasonal
Gallopade is seeking a seasonal Warehouse Associate for the next 45 days (or longer) from August 2024 to October 2024 at our headquarters in Peachtree City, GA. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for pulling orders, scanning orders, and packing orders for shipment.
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Ship orders in a timely and orderly fashion in a warehouse environment
- Pull, accurately count, and package products for shipment
- Inspect products and packaging damage
- Package, palletize, and bundle products for shipment using means appropriate for the method of transportation
- Proficient with all sorts of material handling and packaging devices, including stand-up forklifts and pallet jacks
- Accurately receive and record inbound freight shipments
- Packing accuracy must be at or exceed an acceptable level
- Maintain records of shipping, receiving, and warehouse inventory
- Ability to lift 40 pounds and load
- Keep warehouse organized and other tasks as assigned
- Ability to work 40 hours and some overtime
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organization
- Must be adaptable to change in the work environment, comfortable with multiple competing demands, and be able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events in a calm and logical manner
- Prior forklift experience
- No warehouse experience required
- Some computer experience/typing skills
