This is position is based in Nashville, TN, and the selected candidate will work remotely from their home base in Nashville.

How You'll Contribute to the Team: 

The temporary Data Entry Specialist will play a crucial role in assisting the Risk Management team with a high-priority, time-sensitive project. This position involves close collaboration with the Environmental Manager to uphold operational compliance with all relevant regulations and requirements. Strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational and time-management skills, proficiency in technology, and the ability to communicate with professionalism and discretion is at the forefront of this role.

Primary Responsibilities Include:   

  • Support the Risk Management team in the timely completion of an electronic database centralization project.
  • Facilitate information gathering and synthesis of critical business data from disparate sources, applying quality control checks to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and timeliness.
  • Drive operational consistency of risk management documentation storage by following standard operating procedures and file naming conventions.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and ensure compliance with company policies regarding data security.
  • Provide timely status updates on progress and targeted completion dates for project assignments.
  • Attend in-person meetings as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Role Specific Requirements Include: 

  • Bachelor’s or Associate Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of data entry experience or a college student pursuing a degree in IT or Science-related field.
  • Familiarity with environmental industry or terminology gained while pursuing a college degree is a plus.
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to use Excel, SharePoint, and OneDrive proficiently; Proficient in uploading, downloading, and saving documents following standard operating procedures.
  • Analytical ability necessary to collect, analyze, and audit data.
  • Ability to shift between two or more activities or sources of information while maintaining accurate output and high attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate between different software programs and compile information from multiple electronic sources.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability; willing to seek assistance/guidance when needed.
  • Detail and process oriented.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate information and ideas with clarity and precision.
  • Ability to take personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work and achieve results with little oversight.
  • Must be independent, self-motivated and possess a positive attitude, operating well in a team environment that is focused on collaboration and accountability.
  • Ability to act with integrity, honesty, and professionalism at all times.
  • Ability to work remotely and live within a commutable distance to Nashville to attend in-person weekly or bi-weekly meetings.
  • Must exhibit and use superior discretion with respect to sensitive and confidential information.
  • Other duties as assigned
