Operations Associate

Engine Power Source is a builder and distributor of Kubota engine packages and industrial generators dedicated to delivering high-quality power solutions for various applications. We pride ourselves on our meticulous engineering, commitment to excellence, and dynamic work environment. As we continue to grow, we are seeking ambitious and driven recent college graduates or early career candidates to join our team as Operations and Sales Associates.

As an Associate, you will take part in a program designed to prepare you for a successful career in manufacturing management or sales. This entry-level role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and insight into various aspects of our operations, including assembly, warehouse management, sales and engineering. 

What You’d Do: 

  • Oversee, manage and work directly alongside assembly teams, warehouse teams and service teams ensuring that engine packages are assembled according to engineering specifications and quality standards.
  • Supervise warehouse or assembly teams, managing day-to-day operations, and fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and work with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance your knowledge of engines, manufacturing processes, and leadership skills.
  • Perform regular quality checks and maintain detailed records of production processes, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure compliance with safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment.

What We’re Looking For: 

  • Recent college graduates or early career talent with a degree in Business Management, Manufacturing, Agriculture, Engineering or a related field.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and a passion for managing teams and improving processes.
  • A strong interest in learning about engines and manufacturing processes. Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to analyze problems, develop solutions, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
  • A willingness to work in various departments and adapt to different roles to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company.

Schedule and Compensation:

  • Work Hours: Standard schedule is Monday – Friday 8:00am-5:00pm and this role is located in our Rock Hill, SC office. 
  • Compensation: Starting pay is typically between $50,000 - $60,000 per year but ultimately it is based on experience
