We are looking for a Comedy Content Writer to join our team at Super Purpose.

Details:

  • Must be authorized to work in the US.
  • We do not provide sponsorship or accept student visas (OPT, CPT F1, or H1B work authorization visas).
  • Remote opportunity
  • Unpaid internship
  • Time Commitment: 10 hours per week for 20 weeks (completion of 200-hour internship)
  • Success Completion: Receive LOR, LinkedIn recommendations & endorsements

YOU WILL: 

  • Write and revise humorous and heartfelt scripts for various projects.
  • Participate in our hilarious Writer's Room for brainstorming and script readings for video projects, provide feedback for revisions, and ensure script alignment with the project vision.
  • Collaborate with other teams to help you write and edit compelling copy for our website, social media, and email campaigns to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to our brand voice.
  • Assist in brainstorming and developing creative ideas for campaigns and projects.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and UX teams to develop content strategies and concepts.
  • Research topics and gather information to ensure accuracy in scripts.
  • Optimize copy for SEO to improve search engine rankings and visibility.
  • Assist with other marketing tasks and projects as needed.
  • Write, edit, and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, manuals, FAQs, and release notes.

YOU ARE:

  • Someone with strong storytelling and creating writing skills who can make people laugh and put a smile on their face.
  • A strong writer, editor, and proofreader.
  • Able to adapt writing style to various tones and audiences.
  • An excellent researcher, creative and able to generate innovative ideas.
  • Passionate about writing and have a keen eye for detail.
  • Confident, driven, ambitious, determined, resilient.
  • Adaptable to changes in projects and priorities and can handle multiple projects.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision and attend video conferencing meetings whenever needed.
