🚀 Summer Computer Science Intern (Full-Time, 40 hrs/week)

Smote is an early-stage, pre-funding startup in NYC founded by a serial entrepreneur. We’re building AI-powered tools to help college students study smarter by turning lectures into notes, quizzes, and flashcards, plus an on-demand AI tutor.

We’re looking for a Computer Science Intern who’s eager to build, experiment with AI tools, and contribute meaningfully to a fast-moving product.

What You’ll Do:

Work directly with the founder and design team to ship new features

Integrate AI models (OpenAI, Whisper, Elevenlabs, etc.) into a mobile app

Debug, improve UI/UX, and contribute to technical decisions

Move fast and take ownership of projects

You Should Be:

Comfortable working independently in a startup-style environment

Excited about AI and using cutting-edge APIs

Be a fast learner

Ideally NYC-based (remote OK for the right candidate)

Details:

Timeline: Summer 2025, 10–12 weeks

Hours: Full-time, ~40 hours/week

Stipend: $800/month
