Operations & Asset Management Internship (Part-Time) – $20/hour

Emerald City Associates is a private equity firm focused on acquiring and revitalizing multifamily properties across the Southeast. We operate Green Alpha Property Management, our in-house property management company, giving us full control from acquisition through operations. As a fast-growing, startup-style firm, we offer an immersive, hands-on internship where you’ll gain exposure to every aspect of asset and operations management.
What You’ll Do:
- Work directly with our Asset Manager and VP of Asset Management on day-to-day operations
- Assist with asset performance tracking, financial analysis, and rent rolls
- Help manage project timelines, CAPEX initiatives, and occupancy goals
- Participate in cross-functional meetings with property management, acquisitions, and ownership
- Support creation of internal reports, dashboards, and investor updates
- Learn the ins and outs of how multifamily real estate is acquired, improved, and managed
What We’re Looking For:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and willingness to learn
- Proficiency in Excel and comfort working with data
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Interest in real estate, private equity, or asset management as a career path
