Clinical Care Assistant

CarePath Injury Centers Provider Group is Seeking a full-time Clinical Care Assistant for our injury, accident and pain management practice to work directly alongside with our founding physician throughout our offices in Eastern, PA.

Who We are Looking for: We are looking for detail-oriented Clinical Care Assistant who is passionate about helping those in need and creating a welcoming environment. You will work closely with the founding physician of the company and other medical professionals in the office. Someone who is an effective communicator, reliable, and eager to learn/adapt will do well in this role. We'd love if you have previous experience in the medical field, but are open to those who want to learn! 

Job Details include:

  • As the personal Clinical Care Assistant to our founding physician, you will work alongside him during office clinic days and procedure days

  • Responsible for maintaining knowledge of a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures
  • Responsible for patient check-in and paperwork, check-out and scheduling within our EHR system
  • Helping patients get setup or their appointments, checking them in, rooming, and scribing as needed
  • Assisting with preparation of injection medications and prepping patients before their in-office procedures
  • Learning various pain minimally invasive procedures and operating a fluoroscopy machine
  • Assists the physician in other clinic-related tasks
  • Daily responsibilities include answering and directing phone calls, scheduling patients in the EHR system, assisting medical professionals with care for patients, following sanitary protocols, cleaning up exam rooms/main office area as needed, etc.
  • Creating a kind, welcoming, supportive and helpful atmosphere to both the patients and staff members
  • Responsible for helping grow the patient base and practice through exceptional care & service
  • Effectively communicating with office staff members, and with supervisors
  • Other duties that arise as the office needs

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to quickly learn medical terminology, pain procedures and other clinic based care knowledge
  • Ability to learn office operations from front desk to patient clinical care
  • Familiarity with EHR systems
  • Ability to learn and operate an EHR (Electronic Health Records System)
  • Ability to effectively communicate with in-office personnel, patients, and other company members
  • Ability to take and follow direction from supervisors
  • Able to commute to various offices located in the philadelphia area and the lehigh valley area
  • Knowledge of treating patients in the injury and accident space preferred
  • Comfortability and ability to manage and lead other in a positive, effective manner
  • Background check authorization & required documents must be completed prior to onboarding
  • Comfortability to use translation and communicate with Spanish-Speaking Patients

Schedule:

Full-Time Mon-Fri, hybrid. This position requires travel to our offices throughout and around Philadelphia, PA and the Lehigh Valley area. It is a mix of travel days to these offices, and remote clinical work. 

Compensation:

  • $22/hr
  • PTO Package
  • Paid company holidays
  • Healthcare allowance stipend
