Online Sales Inventory Specialist

The Ridgeline Sales Inventory Specialist oversees all retail inventory functions of investigating and qualifying reorders with the approval of the Sales Manager. As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and availability of our product inventory. utilize inventory management tools such as Light Speed, import data from Excel, and ensure compliance with price and map policies. Additionally, you will be responsible for adjusting website pricing to align with our sales strategy, marking products accurately on the sales floor, updating inventory counts, and promptly receiving and inspecting incoming shipments. Your keen attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve issues with orders, purchase orders, and shipping labels will be vital to our success.The Sales Inventory Specialist also recommends specific products to be no longer carried in inventory based on poor sales (turns) results. The Sales Inventory Specialist owns and monitors the inventory turns reports on an on-going basis to determine reason for sales performance and recommends specific action to the Sales Manager and Merchandiser. The Sales Inventory Specialist has budget responsibility for the retail inventory balances and related processes including forecasting, pricing, discounting, and creative means of moving inventory that is not meeting sales expectations. All of these functions are performed through standard sales policies and Sales Manager approved plans. The Sales Inventory Specialist generates most retail inventory purchase orders with the approval of the Sales Manager and the budget availability confirmed with the Bookkeeper who tracks available budget. The Sales Sales Inventory Specialist holds themselves accountable for and profitably selling the shop inventory based on agreed upon budgets. The Sales Sales Inventory Specialist will work with the Sales Manager to assure the promoted business is in stock and available for sale according to overall sales strategies and merchandising plans at Ridgeline Bike & Ski sales and rental locations.
