Aviation Charter Administrative Summer Intern

Air New England, a distinguished Part 135 charter company, along with our sister brand, Symphony Private Jets, a premier luxury charter brokerage, are seeking a detail-oriented Aviation Charter Administrative Intern for the summer season. In this role you’ll get a first hand look in the fast-paced and fun world of aviation, while also learning business, sales, marketing, and operations skills.

Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as the first point of contact for incoming client and crew inquiries, providing prompt responses via phone and email.
  • Evaluate client travel needs and preferences to craft customized travel solutions.
  • Conduct research to produce accurate and comprehensive quotes for travel itineraries, ensuring all financial aspects such as costs, taxes, and margins are included.
  • Oversee all aspects of flight operations, from planning and scheduling to coordinating logistics such as fueling, FBO services, catering, and ground transportation.
  • Proactively communicate with clients regarding flight status, delays, and any necessary itinerary adjustments, while also offering suitable alternatives.
  • Utilize real-time tracking systems to monitor flights, anticipate any disruptions, and effectively communicate any necessary changes.
  • Help with sales and marketing projects, and some data entry for reporting.
  • Ensure the maintenance of aircraft cleanliness and preparedness between flights.
  • Be willing to undertake additional tasks as needed to support team and company goals.

Requirements: 

Currently pursuing a degree in business, marketing, sales, aviation management, or a related field. Excellent communication skills and the ability, a can do attitude, and a willingness to work within a team setting. The ability to submit to an initial drug test along with random drug and alcohol testing in order to comply with safety and company guidelines. This position will be on-site and will require the ability to commute to our offices in Portsmouth, NH each day. Weekends, nights, and holidays will be required. Part-time positions available. Hourly wages $17-$20 an hour.
