Fund Reporting Intern
Graham Partners is seeking a motivated Fund Reporting Intern to join our Fund Reporting team. This internship provides hands-on experience in fund accounting operations, financial reporting, and investor relations within the private equity industry. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and has a basic understanding of accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing quarterly fund financial reports, including statements of partners’ capital and unfunded commitments
- Assist in capital call and distribution processing, ensuring accurate calculations and timely execution
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records
- Maintain general ledgers and record transactions related to fund investments
- Participate in month-end closing activities and journal entry preparation
- Organize and maintain financial reporting files/system
- Communicate with investors regarding capital accounts, calls, and financial statements
- Conduct research on financial regulations and industry best practices as needed
- Assist in ad hoc accounting tasks
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
