MOUD Prescriber
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate MOUD Prescriber to join our agency. This position will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care, including within an Opioid Health Home model, to individuals struggling with opioid addiction. This can be a hybrid position based out of Augusta and/or Livermore Falls. New grads are welcome to apply.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans for individuals with opioid use disorder.
- Prescribe and manage medications as part of a comprehensive treatment strategy.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary teams within the outpatient setting.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in addiction treatment and mental health counseling.
Qualifications
- Valid medical license to practice as a prescriber in Maine.
- Experience working in outpatient settings.
- Strong background in addiction services.
- Excellent patient assessment skills and the ability to develop tailored treatment plans.
- Compassionate approach towards patient care with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $45.00 - $85.00 per hour
