Licensed Physical Therapist

Job description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at our Pflugerville location. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Patient Evaluation & Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions, including strength, mobility, and functional limitations.
  • Treatment Planning & Implementation: Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at improving patients' physical function and quality of life.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and strategies to promote recovery and prevent future injuries.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with clinic policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay current with the latest physical therapy techniques and best practices to provide the highest standard of care.

Qualifications

  • Education: Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program.
  • Licensure: Current and unrestricted license to practice physical therapy in the state of Texas.
  • Experience: Previous experience in outpatient orthopedic or sports rehabilitation settings is preferred, but new grads are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; additional certifications such as Dry Needling or Manual Therapy are a plus.
