Graphic Design Intern

Role Overview
As a Graphic Design Intern, you will play a key role in creating visually impactful designs that resonate with thousands of rising athletes, coaches, and high school/club teams across the USA. You’ll work closely with our team to develop dynamic templates and visuals for our Graphics and Profiles Pro feature, ensuring users can access sleek, innovative content. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment while contributing to a next-generation platform.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Design professional-quality graphics templates for athletes, teams, and organizations.

• Work collaboratively with the CTO and founders to ensure alignment with branding and technical requirements.

• Assist in designing SVG templates and media assets for the NXT 1 app.

• Organize and manage media files in Firebase storage, ensuring consistency and scalability.

• Research and implement sports-centric design trends to keep content fresh and relevant.

 

Skills You’ll Learn

• Advanced graphic design techniques with tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, and Figma.

• SVG optimization and integration for scalable and responsive graphics.

• Insights into how platforms like Canva function at a technical level.

• DOM modeling and data-naming structures for dynamic graphic templates.

• Practical experience with scalable media storage systems and advanced file structuring.
 

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, XD, etc.) and/or Figma.

• Familiarity with SVG, PNG, and other graphic formats.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

• Passion for design, technology, and innovation.
 

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of branding and marketing for sports organizations.

• Experience with designing for mobile and web platforms.

• Knowledge of scalable design systems.
