About the Role
We’re looking for a Backend Developer Intern to help expand our data pipelines, APIs, and internal tooling. You’ll work closely with our engineering and research teams to structure, deliver, and optimize the flow of financial and economic data that powers our core platform. This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys clean architecture, scalable systems, and building tech that enables smarter investing.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and maintain backend services that ingest and process financial market data
  • Build and optimize APIs for internal use and frontend integration
  • Collaborate with data scientists to operationalize research tools and insights
  • Support secure, reliable storage and retrieval of economic indicators and analytics
  • Help scale infrastructure to support increasing data volume and analytical demands

     

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related technical field (junior/senior preferred)
  • Proficiency in Python or similar backend languages (e.g., Node.js, Go, Java)
  • Experience with REST APIs, databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB), and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Git, Docker, or deployment pipelines is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working in a fast-paced environment
