Operations Intern

Essential Functions:

  • Assist with daily operational tasks of all areas of the Electronic Banking Department.
  • Assist with maintenance tasks for department projects.
  • Process daily credit card tasks including but not limited to credit card payments and input of new retail credit card accounts.
  • Prepare daily card files, print, and process instant issue debit and credit cards.
  • Alert Supervisor and/or Compliance Officer to forgeries or suspicious activity.  Is alert to deviation from policies and procedures.
  • Provide customers and coworkers with professional, efficient, and courteous service with all types of account inquiries.
  • Perform other job-related duties or special projects as assigned.
  • Understand and adhere to all bank policies, laws and regulations applicable to their role. Complete compliance training; follow internal processes and controls as required.
  • Report all compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in bank policies.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.

Qualifications:

  • Previous banking experience preferred but not required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products and in working with other bank software.

Working Environment:

Sedentary work – occasionally lifting and/or carrying up to 25 lbs.

Indoor work – not exposed to outdoor elements or hazards.
