Senior home health aide

Kupuna Care Hawaii is a locally owned home care agency that serves Hawaii's aging community. We are looking for part time and on-call aides to assist our seniors with homecare duties such as companionship, homemaking and personal care.

Responsibilities may include some of the following:

• Companionship: Listening to stories from their youth, playing music they enjoy, teaching them a new hobby, reading together, watching TV together, or showing them how to use their smartphone

• Homemaking: Eating meals together, light housekeeping duties, assistance with grocery shopping or light errands

• Personal Care: Assisting with ADLs (activities of daily living) such as feeding, grooming, transferring and bathing

Skills

• CPR and First Aid certification

• Good time management

• Outstanding communication and patience!

• Able to lift at least 50 lbs

Qualifications

• Current CPR Training Certification (not required to apply)

• A 2-Step TB Clearance (not required to apply)

• Smart Phone
