Web Content Developer Intern
Purpose
To support the creation, publishing, and optimization of web-based content on BiiTech’s platforms (e.g., company website, blog, landing pages), aligned with branding and marketing goals.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft and update website content (About Us, Programs, Blog)
  • Design landing pages for campaigns or grant-funded programs
  • Assist with SEO optimization (meta descriptions, headings, keywords)
  • Collaborate with graphics/design interns to match visuals with copy
  • Monitor analytics and suggest edits to improve user engagement

Tools & Systems

  • CMS (e.g., WordPress, Web flow) for content publishing
  • Canva or Figma for basic design tasks
  • Google Analytics or Hotjar (if available) for performance insights
  • Google Docs for content drafts and collaboration

Daily/Weekly Tasks
Task Frequency: 

Update or draft new web content (text, layout), Daily Review and revise existing pages 2–3x/Week Meet with marketing/design team for alignment Weekly Track performance or feedback on web edits Weekly 

Expectations for Both Intern Roles:

  • Follow branding and formatting guidelines
  • Maintain clear file naming and version control
  • Meet internal deadlines and communicate delays early
  • Respond to feedback and revisions professionally
  • Protect confidentiality of any internal documentation
