Anatomy and Physiology Tutor
We are looking for a reliable and patient person to assist a freshman at Washtenaw Community College prepare for and succeed in her upcoming Anatomy & Physiology course.
This is a 3–4 day per week position, with sessions lasting 1–2 hours each. Meetings can be held in the home or in a public setting like a local library. The position begins as soon as possible and will continue through the fall semester.
We're looking for someone who:
- Can break down complex material into clear, manageable parts
- Uses mnemonics, analogies, or other creative techniques to aid memory and understanding
- Can help her organize what she needs to learn, pace the workload, and build a strong foundation over the summer
- Is relatable, dependable, and skilled at explaining tough content in a way that sticks (formal tutoring experience not required)
- Brings an encouraging, structured approach—clear and steady without being rigid
Her confidence in science is low, so the right tutor will make a real difference in how she approaches and absorbs this material.
If you're knowledgeable in A&P and this sounds like a good fit, we’d love to hear from you!
