This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule. This office location is close to shopping, Historic Folsom, walking trails, offers free parking, and is not located behind prison walls.

The Classification and Recruitment Analyst will research, analyze and make recommendations to management on varied and complex classification and pay issues such as, reclassifications, out of class request, training and development assignments, and job fairs. The Classification and Recruitment Analyst will also consult and provide guidance to hiring managers by exploring various hiring methods to meet the Department’s needs while ensuring a fair, equitable, merit-based hiring process is followed.
This is a limited term position that may be extended or become permanent. This position is being considered at the Staff Services Analyst (SSA) level. To also be considered at the SSA level you must apply to JC-475244.

- Experience researching, applying, interpreting or explaining laws, rules, policies and regulations
- Experience with ECOS, Salesforce or SCO
- Experience evaluating minimum qualifications, reviewing duty statements & position allocation, completing salary determinations, and performing eligibility checks
