Transfer Admissions Graduate Assistant
The Transfer Admissions Graduate Assistant is responsible for supporting all transfer admissions initiatives and working with prospective students to guide them through the admissions process. Main goals for the GA are support for the undergraduate Transfer Admissions Tour Guides—from recruiting students for the position, hosting interviews, onboarding, and more. Additionally, the GA is involved in planning and executing multiple on-campus and virtual transfer admissions events per semester. This requires communicating between offices who participate, preparing materials, tracking attendance during check-in and follow up communications, coordinating tours, and assisting with other duties as needed.
The GA supports the Assistant Director of Transfer Admissions with the operations and larger goals of Undergraduate Admissions by connecting with prospective students on the admissions process, assist with communication and yield strategies, and other duties as assigned. Prior admissions and/or leadership experience are preferred, however not required for the success of this role.
This position is for 20 hours/week of work (300 hours for the fall and spring semester), and it provides a tuition waiver for 9 graduate credits plus a stipend of $3,750 per semester. Please contact Chloe Lecy for additional information if needed at lecy@kutztown.edu.
