Athletics – Promotion & Mascot Program Graduate Assistant

 

Responsible for the administration and oversight of the Avalanche Mascot Program. This includes but is not limited to; recruitment, training, scheduling appearances, maintaining costume and props. Responsible for working with athletic administration in creating, planning and implementing programming related to honoring student-athletes success and building relationships throughout the KU community. Programming will including, in-game promotions, departmental awards banquets, alumni events and other activities as identified by the athletic department’s administration. Individuals will also serve as an on-site administrator for home athletic events when applicable.

 

This position is for 20 hours/week of work (300 hours for the spring semester), and it provides a tuition waiver for 9 graduate credits plus a stipend of $3,750 per semester.  Please contact Elizabeth Fornauf for additional information if needed at fornauf@kutztown.edu.
