Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and proactive Marketing / Sales Intern to join us for a  paid internship. This is an excellent opportunity for a rising Junior or Senior marketing student with some prior marketing experience to gain practical skills in a dynamic hotel environment. You will work closely with our team to support various marketing and sales initiatives, contributing to the hotel's success.

Responsibilities May Include:

  • Assisting in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns to drive occupancy and revenue.
  • Supporting the sales team with lead generation, research, and outreach efforts.
  • Creating engaging content for social media platforms and the hotel website (under supervision).
  • Assisting with the planning and execution of promotional events and local partnerships.
  • Conducting market research and analyzing competitor activities.
  • Maintaining and updating marketing materials and databases.
  • Providing administrative support to the marketing and sales teams as needed.
  • Potentially assisting with guest inquiries and providing information about hotel services.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled as a rising Junior or Senior in a Bachelor's degree program, preferably majoring in Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Previous marketing experience is required (internships, projects, or part-time roles).
  • Prior experience in the hotel or hospitality industry is highly preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing concepts.  
  • A proactive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
