Location: Remote (with optional on-site support during DRJ events)
Internship Type: Part-Time / Seasonal
Compensation: $15–$18/hour (depending on experience and availability)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Event Manager Intern to assist our Event Director in planning and executing our DRJ Spring and Fall conferences. This hands-on role includes everything from logistics to speaker support — plus an opportunity to gain experience in event marketing and audience engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in planning and execution of conference logistics (venue, vendors, AV, food and beverage, etc.)
Support exhibitor and sponsor coordination and communication
Help manage speaker communications, scheduling, and on-site needs
Assist with contract review and tracking
Contribute to event marketing efforts — including social media, email promotions, and content planning
Help gather and organize assets for digital and print materials (speaker bios, session descriptions, etc.)
Provide support during the live event (virtually or in person)
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field
Passion for event planning and interest in business or technology conferences
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Basic understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing preferred
No prior experience required — just a great attitude and willingness to learn!
