Social Media Intern

MilkMoney, the go to marketplace for outdoor advertising, is looking for a high-energy, passionate, and imaginative Social Media Intern 👀📱

Are you a TikTok and Instagram–obsessed, social-savvy creative? If you’re always online, love making content that grabs attention, and know what’s trending before it blows up, this gig is for you. You’ll manage our social channels, create eye-catching content for outdoor advertising campaigns, engage with our followers, and help take our social presence to the next level as our Social Media Intern.

Content Creation & Ideation

  • Pitch fresh, creative TikTok and Reels ideas weekly, tapping into trends and moments relevant to outdoor advertising and culture.
  • Stay plugged into TikTok, Instagram, and the outdoor advertising landscape—spotting what’s next before it hits the mainstream.
  • Lead copywriting for social content—crafting engaging captions for TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn that reflect MilkMoney’s voice and messaging.
  • Shoot and edit long and short form videos.
  • Publish content according to established social media content calendar.
  • Present weekly trend reports with recommendations for how MilkMoney can show up authentically in the conversation.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure all content aligns with brand messaging and larger initiatives.

Community Engagement

  • Engage with our community across all social channels by replying to comments, reacting to stories, and building real connections that keep the conversation going.

Internship Requirements

  • Must be based in Los Angeles to help shoot in-house content and capture content on the streets of current outdoor advertising campaigns.
  • Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, with a sharp eye for viral content trends.
  • Creative thinker with a strong visual sense, confident in pitching fresh ideas and trying new content formats.
  • Positive energy, camera confidence, and open to being both behind and in front of the lens.
  • Experience with CapCut, Canva, or other in-app editing tools.
  • Bonus: Adobe Creative Suite tools like Premiere Pro, Photoshop, or Illustrator.
