Homes for Independent Living (HIL) is hiring a Jr. Recruiter to join our team, be  responsible for updating job postings, scheduling events, sourcing resumes and other duties to hire direct care professionals, group home leaders, health services leaders and more. 

Opportunities to be promoted to Recruiter, Sr. Recruiter and more!

As a Recruiter, you will:

  • Source resumes from job boards and engage candidates regarding openings
  • Update job postings as openings change
  • Register and attend career fairs and other recruiting events, managing WI. calendar
  • Create new hire files for first day and other onboarding tasks
  • Other duties as needed within team
  • Must be willing to work in office 2-3 days per week and travel to events as needed.

Qualifications:

  • College degree strongly preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Highly effective communicator in both verbal and written form
  • Goal oriented and highly detailed
  • Highly organized with an ability to work under tight deadlines and with little direction
  • Exceptional organization and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver’s license for 3 years with an acceptable driving record per company policy; maintains insurance on personal vehicle.
