Attorney, Business Immigration: Represent clients in immigration-related matters before federal agencies. Prepare immigrant/non-immigrant petitions including EB1, EB2-NIW, I-485, H1B, consular processing, J1 Waiver or other immigrant-related petitions. Advise clients on their legal rights regarding immigration, naturalization, and citizenship, including potential pathways to legal status. Conduct legal research to support arguments for petition filings, staying abreast of new laws and regulations that affect immigration cases. Draft briefs, legal memorandum, and cover letters in support of the case filings. Prepare, review, and approve petitions and applications for case filings. Review work products prepared by law clerks, and paralegals, and make revisions to analyze petitions, applications, and supporting documents for visas, green cards, and citizenship, ensuring compliance with federal immigration laws. Coordinate with writers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure clients’ needs are met and their cases are presented effectively. Requirements: JD or Master of Law, or their foreign equivalent, in Law. 2 years of experience as a Law Clerk, Paralegal, Attorney or related occupation in which the required immigration law experience is gained. Must have the following: Active bar membership in any state, DC or US territory. In-depth knowledge of the application process and requirements, specifically in EB1, EB2-NIW, I-485, H1B, O-1, I-601, I-539, I-290B, consular processing and J-1 waiver application process; Extensive knowledge of technical writing and researching; the ability to efficiently identify legal issues; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, efficient case management and time management skills; Solid knowledge of using programs and applications like word processors, spreadsheet software, scheduling applications, and technical communication tools.
