TMS Technician

The TMS Center of Colorado LLC, is a leading provider of cutting-edge mental health services for treatment resistant depression and OCD. We were the first to offer TMS in the state of Colorado back in 2009 and since then, TMS has grown exponentially. We have two locations with one in Denver at I-25 and Colorado Blvd and in Lakewood at Union Blvd and 6th Ave. Our staff are often compromised of graduate students looking to enter the mental health field and want to get some direct patient experience in an established mental health clinic.

This is a part-time position. 

As a TMS Technician, you will be responsible for the safe and effective administration of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy to patients. This role involves operating the TMS equipment, monitoring patients during treatment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and assisting in the overall management of patient care. You will work closely with our medical staff to provide patients with the highest level of care and support throughout their treatment journey. While a history of TMS training is preferred, it is not mandatory.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer TMS therapy to patients according to prescribed treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Communicate with physicians and care team to review patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Complete phone consultations/safety screenings for potential new patients
  • Process and log payments
  • Maintain office organization standards set by the clinic
  • Schedule ongoing treatment times with the patient
  • Answer/Follow Up on patient inquiries and phone calls
  • Assist providers with patient monitoring
  • Flexibility to be scheduled in either our Denver or Lakewood office

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree
  • Previous experience as a TMS Technician or work in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast pace environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
  • Ability to push 15 pounds of pressure while in a standing position
  • Computer proficient
