Customer Support Team Member
Diversifood in Marietta, GA is looking to hire a new customer support team member. This role will function under the logistics department. Diversifood has been providing frozen fruits and vegetables to foodservice wholesalers for over 30 years. The logistics department is a critical component of both our mission and our success.
Job Responsibilities & tasks:
- Plan, arrange, and track shipments of orders using existing carrier network
- Track charges as they relate to shipments
- Verify OS&D claims by customers and carriers
- Maintain cost analysis of shipment lanes
- Coordinate with purchasing, customer service, warehouses and suppliers
- Assist with customer service functions
- Other duties as they arise.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word and Outlook
- Quick learner who enjoys handling multiple tasks simultaneously, with the ability to maintain focus and adapt to a variety of challenges
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong sense of time organization and urgency
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented mindset
