Business Intern

COMPANY PROFILE:

Durin Life Sciences is an early-stage startup founded at Rowan University. The company discovers biomarkers and develops non-invasive, easy access diagnostic tests for the most prevalent and devastating neurodegenerative disorders, including Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases. Duritect™ diagnostic tests deliver rapid results with high accuracy, enabling early detection and monitoring of disease progression—sometimes a decade or more before symptoms appear.

Durin’s first test, for Alzheimer's, will come to market in April 2025, followed by tests for other diseases. What is truly exciting and sets the company apart is that the groundbreaking science creates a scalable platform for biomarker discovery and diagnostic tests that will extend beyond the multi-billion-dollar neurodegenerative diagnostics market into the much larger, broader chronic disease diagnostic market.
