
Paralegal/Intake Coordinator
SYNOPSIS
We are currently seeking a Paralegal/Intake Coordinator to support our office in New York, NY. The paralegal/intake coordinator is often the first point of contact for potential clients and will provide specialized support to the firm’s attorneys in their work. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

KEY AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Document preparation and management
- Assist with case filings, exhibit production, case management and trial preparation
- Review and monitor client communication and case materials for litigation discovery
- Conduct client-intake interviews to identify and elicit information to assess suitability of various matters
- Draft clear, concise summaries following intake interviews for partner review
- Provide administrative support as needed to the New York office, including mail/deliveries, filing, and document support.
REQUIREMENTS
Required: A combination of relevant education, experience and training equivalent to a bachelor’s degree. Strong writing, proofreading and editing skills are required.
Preferred: This is an entry-level role that requires the ability to independently manage deadlines for multiple assignments in a fast-paced, detail-oriented office environment. An ideal candidate for this role will possess:
- Cultural competence interacting with prospective clients and staff from diverse backgrounds.
- Prior paralegal litigation experience, especially with wage-and-hour or other class action matters.
- Proficiency with Adobe and Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
- Strong writing and data analysis skills
- Bilingual skills (fluent English/Spanish)
COMPENSATION AND TOTAL REWARDS
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), onsite, benefits-eligible position. We offer a generous total rewards package including:
- Competitive pay, $26.44 – $33.65 per hour, commensurate with experience, annualizing to $55,000 – $70,000 per year based on a 40-hour workweek, and overtime-eligible.
