The Texas General Land Office is seeking a Clerk II (ITS Intern) within the ITS Department of the agency.
The (ITS Intern) performs a broad range of clerical work in support of one or a variety of business functions, which may include opening and sorting mail, compiling and tabulating data, answering phones, checking documents for accuracy, transporting documents, and maintaining files. Works under general supervision, with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

What Your Contributions to the GLO Will be:
· User Training and Enablement: Deliver Copilot training sessions to staff using an existing presentation shell. Tailor content to meet the needs of various user groups and skill levels
· Presentation Development: Customize and enhance the provided training presentation template with relevant use cases and clear, step-by-step instructions
· Weekly Training Tips: Draft and distribute short, practical “Copilot Tips of the Week” to help reinforce learning and encourage regular usage
· 1:1 User Support: Offer hands-on assistance to users through individual coaching sessions, helping them apply Copilot features to their daily tasks
Feedback Collection: Gather user feedback during training and support sessions to inform improvements in materials and training delivery. Document for ongoing usage by the GLO after internship concludes
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
· Must be 18 years old
· Be a US Citizen or be eligible to work in the US
· Have at least 30 semester credit hours or more in an accredited college or university (transcripts required)
Physical Requirements:
This position requires the employee to primarily perform sedentary office work; however, mobility (moving around the worksite) is routinely required to carry out some duties. This position requires extensive computer, telephone and client/ customer contact and communication. It requires the ability to move and position oneself as needed for filing and similar routine office duties. The job also requires normal cognitive abilities requiring the ability to learn, recall, and apply certain practices and policies. It requires the stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions. Ability to read printed materials and computer screens. The individual must be able to move and transport records, documents, boxes, and all related information and materials, weighing up to 20 pounds when required.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience in clerical work
· MS Office with focus on Excel
· Coursework in ITS or related field
