Summer Business Development Internship

Our Summer 2025 Internship program is an exciting opportunity for those interested in business development in the energy, oil and gas, and real estate space. We are looking for motivated individuals who are eager to play a key role in acquiring cashflowing assets and growing our portfolio. This is a paid remote position with flexible work hours and flexible start/end dates.

Responsibilities:

  • Reach out to oil and gas companies and asset owners to pique interest in selling assets
  • Achieve agreed-upon acquisition targets and outcomes within the schedule
  • Respond to all leads in a timely manner to drive the business forward
  • Build rapport with prospects and clients to overcome objections and get the deal signed
  • Manage leads and follow up through daily CRM use to update and stay on task until deals are closed
  • Prepare acquisition agreements such as LOIs and PSAs to drive transactions further
  • Collaborate with the C-Team in setting and driving organizational vision
  • Network with professionals in oil & gas, private equity, and business development
  • Training on the Introduction to Oil and Gas will be provided

Duration:

Summer 2025; Flexible

Salary:

  • This will be a paid role commensurate with experience and performance

Qualifications Required:

  • Currently working towards a Bachelor of Science
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Excel, Word
  • Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
