Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and personable Outside Sales Admissions Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you will be the face of Matrix Trade Institute across Michigan and parts of Ohio, meeting with high school counselors, technical center instructors, and prospective students. You’ll drive to various schools and community organizations to promote our career-driven programs and help students take the first step toward a successful trade career.
No prior admissions experience is necessary. Extensive training will be provided. The ideal candidate has a dynamic personality, a passion for helping students, and a desire to grow in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Represent Matrix Trade Institute at high schools, career centers, and community events across your assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with school counselors, career and tech instructors, and key decision-makers.
- Schedule and deliver engaging classroom presentations and participate in school-hosted events.
- Offer in-home and virtual meetings with students and families to guide them through the admissions process.
- Communicate the value of our programs, financial assistance options, and career outcomes.
- Support students through each phase of the admissions journey, from inquiry to enrollment.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly enrollment goals.
- Maintain accurate records of contacts and applicant status in our CRM system.
- Utilize MatrixLink technology to communicate effectively and keep students engaged.
- Participate in all on-campus events, open houses, and training sessions.
- Stay current on program updates and industry trends to inform your conversations and outreach.
Required Qualifications

- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Excellent planning and time management abilities.
- Creative, energetic, and motivated to exceed goals.
- Comfortable with regular travel, including long drives and occasional overnights.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- A genuine passion for career education and student success.
