Environmental Education Intern-Brandywine Creek State Park
Environmental Education interns will assist with all interpretive programming and events. This includes assisting with popular family events like the Bugs Days of Summer as well as researching and leading weekly programs on natural and historical topics such as Full Moon Hikes and Canoe Trips down the Brandywine Creek. Includes night programs and programs on weekends. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. Interns will need to be punctual, responsible, comfortable speaking in front of others, as well as have a positive attitude about working with members of the public and working outdoors. Interns will have opportunities to work one on one with naturalist staff to gain additional experience with environmental education, interpreting for the public, and engaging with a diverse audience.
