Community Manager Intern
Position Overview:
As a Community Manager - Intern you'll be the heart and soul of our online community. Your role will be to engage, inspire, and interact with our loyal customers, create exciting content around our products, and help foster a sense of belonging among food lovers who share our values of creativity and good taste. You’ll work closely with our marketing and customer support team to ensure our community has a positive, seamless experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Community Engagement: Monitor and manage community conversations on social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.), responding actively to comments, direct messages, and user-generated content. Create and nurture relationships with followers, customers, and influencers.
- Content Creation: Develop engaging posts, stories, and content related to our products, recipes, and brand values. This includes visuals, captions, and content that resonates with our food-loving audience. In addition, you will manage our content generation tool – Kale as well as plan and manage our content calendar.
- Customer Support & Feedback: Act as a friendly and approachable point of contact for community members, offering assistance with product-related questions, orders, and general inquiries. Collect and relay customer feedback to the internal teams to help improve the customer experience.
- Brand Advocacy: Encourage and support user-generated content, reviews, and testimonials. Celebrate community members by showcasing their recipes, reviews, and creative uses of our products.
- Community Growth: Assist in developing strategies to expand our online community, grow brand awareness, and increase engagement. Run social campaigns, contests, or collaborations with influencers or other brands to attract new followers.
- Influencer outreach: identify and reach out to influencers that could be potential partners for the brand.
- Following trends: Keep an eye on emerging food trends to create timely and relevant content that excites and inspires our community.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track community engagement metrics (likes, comments, shares, etc.), provide feedback on performance, and suggest areas for improvement. Help create reports that evaluate the success of community-building efforts.
Qualifications:
- Experience or study in social media or Community Management (bonus if experience is from a food brand)
- Strong communication skills with an ability to create engaging, friendly, and informative content that aligns with our brand voice.
- A passion for food and baking with a deep understanding of food trends and community-building.
- Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) and community management tools.
- Have an eye for trends – ability to spot trending and relevant social topics for the brand.
- Creative, self-motivated, and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Knowledge of social media analytics tools to monitor and assess community engagement.
- Bonus: Experience in creating or curating food-related content (recipes, product photography, etc.) or managing influencer collaborations.
Laptop will be provided by the company.
