Lexington Parks and Recreation is looking for lifeguard for the summer 2025 aquatic season. Responsibilities include ensuring a safe swimming environment at the public pools; notify and enforce pool rules to patrons; create a customer service friendly customer service facility; assist in bathhouse and pool area cleaning; perform any other duties assigned by management. Must be able to work well with other employees. Working weekends and holidays may be required. Trainings are required before and during the season.
Minimum Requirements
Possession of a Red Cross Lifeguard Training, First Aid Certificate, and CPR for the professional rescuer with AED Certificate prior to first day in the stand. We offer certification opportunities.
