Unique opportunity in the exciting and very international field of reinsurance  - not to be confused with insurance!   We are looking for an organized, bilingual self-starter who will be helping with various administrative projects in our Miami offices.  Solis interns will work on projects in various departments, including underwriting, operations and possibly technical accounting. 

Projects will be supplemented with a weekly reinsurance seminar in order that each intern finishes the program with some understanding of the industry and the part he or she is playing in it.  Solis Re underwrites reinsurance in Latin America and the Caribbean. Our emphasis is on underwriting excellence and unmatched customer service to our top-notch international clients.  As such, we offer a broad array of industry-specific activities that will broaden exposure to business activities as well as interacting with and learning from some of the most senior and experienced professionals in the market.  

Requirements:

-Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken)

-Detail-oriented

-Excel proficiency

-Good organization skills

-Good communication skills

-Good social skills

-Must be in-office in Miami
