Environmental Scientist, Engineer, or Geologist

McDowell & Associates is looking for an entry-level environmental scientist, geologist, or environmental engineer to join our Environmental Department in Ferndale, Michigan. The ideal candidate is someone eager to learn about the environmental site assessment process, is detail-oriented and organized, and looking to be an active team member to take on a host of environmental projects.  This is a great role for someone with a broad range of scientific knowledge, graphical and technical skills, and interest in the construction and development sector.

McDowell & Associates is a Geotechnical and Environmental Engineering firm founded in 1978. With offices in Ferndale and Midland, Michigan, our engineering and professional staff provide expert consulting services throughout the State of Michigan with occasional projects across the country.

Our clients are developers, builders, and property owners who need to assess property prior to acquisition or have encountered challenges with construction, financing, or regulatory issues.
