HVAC Purchasing Specialist (Entry-Level / Recent Graduate)

In this role, you will work closely with experienced teams across sales, operations, and logistics to learn how to source, procure, and manage HVAC materials and equipment. Key Responsibilities:

Vendor & Supplier Management:

• Learn to identify and evaluate HVAC suppliers and manufacturers.
• Support negotiating pricing, contracts, and terms to secure competitive deals.
• Help monitor supplier performance and assist in resolving any delivery or quality issues.
• Research new suppliers to improve product availability and pricing.

Procurement & Inventory Management:

• Assist in generating and managing purchase orders for HVAC materials and equipment.
• Help verify incoming shipments against purchase orders for accuracy.
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to track inventory and maintain optimal stock levels.
• Maintain accurate records, including purchase orders, invoices, and supplier agreements.

Product & Industry Analysis:

• Learn how to assess HVAC products and vendors based on cost, quality, and reliability.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and pricing shifts.
• Support evaluating lifecycle costs to aid in smart purchasing decisions.

Operational Coordination:

• Collaborate with internal teams to align purchasing activities with project and customer needs.
• Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries.
• Participate in developing cost-saving procurement strategies.

Compliance & Reporting:

• Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and industry standards.
• Maintain thorough documentation for audits and reporting.
• Assist in preparing procurement reports analyzing cost trends and vendor performance.

Ideal Candidate:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or nearing graduation in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Distribution, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• Academic Excellence: Strong GPA (3.0 or higher preferred).
• Skills: Excellent communication, organization, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Mindset: Eager to learn, detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about the HVAC industry and supply chain operations.
• Technical Ability: Comfortable learning inventory management and procurement software (training provided).

Schedule: Monday–Friday
Pay Rate: Based on HVAC product knowledge
