Job Summary/Objective:  

The HR Intern will support a range of project-based initiatives within the Human Resources department. This internship is designed to provide exposure to the planning, coordination, and execution of key HR projects related to compliance, employee development, internal communication, and engagement. The intern will gain practical experience working on meaningful short-term assignments under the guidance of the HR team. This role is ideal for a student pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Due to the sensitive nature of HR work, maintaining strict confidentiality and professional discretion is essential in this role.

 

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

  • Must uphold a high standard of integrity and professionalism, with the ability to handle confidential employee information responsibly.
  • Support HR-led projects focused on compliance, job documentation, employee communications, and organizational development.
  • Attend and document key internal discussions or meetings; summarize input and identify follow-up actions.
  • Assist with planning and coordination of training-related initiatives, including researching and preparing materials or documentation.
  • Contribute to the development of content and resources supporting transparency, engagement, or process improvements.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings or committee work relevant to employee experience and HR strategy.
  • Collaborate with HR team members to research best practices and support implementation of new tools or programs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of project status, action items, and deliverables.

Required Education, Experience, and Eligibility Qualifications:

  • Demonstrates discretion, sound judgment and professionalism when working with sensitive or confidential topics.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace tools.
  • Strong attention to detail, written communication, and organization skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and follow through on assigned projects.

Preferred Education, Experience, and Eligibility Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with a focus in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Interest in human resources, internal communications, and/or workplace learning.
