Investor Relations Analyst

S3 Capital is one of the most active private real estate credit managers on the East Coast of the United States, with an active portfolio of 170+ loans totaling over $3 billion in assets under management. The firm is seeking a highly driven, detail-oriented individual to join our Investor Relations & Marketing team to support our rapid growth and help us provide an exceptional investor experience to a diverse client base.
The Firm’s Investor Relations team is responsible for growing and serving the firm’s investor base, which includes a diverse mix of institutional, family office, high net worth investors as well as the advisors and consultants supporting each. In this capacity, the Investor Relations Analyst serves an important role, providing support to clients across multiple stages of the relationship, from initial onboarding to ongoing servicing.
Internally, the IR Analyst will have the opportunity to work directly with the firm’s senior management team and across a variety of functions including investment management, accounting, legal, and marketing. This role has the potential to provide the right candidate with opportunities for career progression.
What you’ll do:
- Interface with the firm’s investors to facilitate routine investor transactions including subscriptions, transfers, and redemptions
- Work hand in hand with the firm’s third party administrator across all areas of the operations process; respond to routine investor inquiries
- Assist with the day-to-day management of the firm’s CRM/investor portal, Juniper Square; Maintain investor contact information and track relevant updates
- Facilitate the distribution of quarterly distributions, investment reports, annual tax documents, and invoices.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on all matters related to S3 Capital / Spruce Properties fund documents while working closely with teams including Legal, Compliance, Accounting, Asset Management, and Tax
- Coordinate legal review of relevant documents; communicate necessary updates to investors
- Gather all relevant supporting KYC documents from investors (i.e. W9, ID, formation documents, etc.)
- Work with the accounting and operations team on various ad hoc fund administration tasks
- May also assist the Marketing Associate and other team members with support on relevant externally facing materials and presentations as needed
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business, real estate, communications or a related field
- 1+ year of experience in client service, operations, or fund administration
- Previous experience with fund administration or investor relations a plus
- Extremely organized, detail-oriented nature
- Hard-working, can-do attitude
- Proactive problem solver
