Financial Advisor
Job Summary:
As a Financial Advisor with Magellan Financial, Inc. of Heirloom Wealth Advisors, you will collaborate with the Magellan Team of Senior Advisors and Wealth Planners to develop a personalized investment proposal and plan specific investment solutions. Design both business and marketing plans to develop new client relationships. Begin client interactions to gather data and update our CRM System. Foster new client relationships through networking within the community.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work with team to understand our approach, Wealth Planning Process, and Wealth Management programs.
- Familiarize yourself with eMoney.
- Train to become proficient in using Advisory Gateway and accessing Investment Research and portfolio analysis tools.
- Initiate client interactions, gather data, and update our CRM System.
- Work with our team to develop new client relationships through networking within the community.
- Develop your own business and marketing plans to align with Magellan’s long-term strategy.
- Participate in client/prospect/advisor meetings.
- Participate in feedback/debrief meetings and take an active approach to continuous improvement.
- Provide guidance and oversight of the administration of various family entities and comprehensive services related to addressing client’s financial needs.
- Work toward the successful completion of the CERTIFIFED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification.
Required Skills/Abilities:

● Assess client’s overall financial picture, understand their needs, and work with
our team to develop a solid investment plan.
- Provide strategic advice across a variety of financial products and services.
● Guide clients towards a profitable and secure financial decision.
Therefore, the Financial Advisor will need to possess excellent:
● Verbal and written communication skills
● Interpersonal and customer service skills
● Phone etiquette
● Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multifaceted tasks
● Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
● Microsoft Office skills
● Working knowledge of eMoney planning solutions (preferred)
● Ability to learn computer programs & operating systems
● The ability and willingness to collaborate with others
● Experience: 3+ years of financial service industry experience and/or other
relevant experience
FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 (or 63 & 65) registrations are required. Having earned the CFP® certification or making progress towards earning the certification is preferred.
