Put your career into high gear with Mavis Tire. We're looking for a summer IT Audit intern to join our IT Team at our Operation Support Center in White Plains, NY. With nearly 2,300 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest, independently-owned tire sales and automotive r2epair chains in the United States.

 Position Overview

We are looking for an IT Audit Intern to support and enhance our IT General Controls (ITGC) program. This role will focus on monitoring user access controls across multiple systems and ensuring compliance through our change control ticket process. The ideal candidate will contribute to process optimization and compliance maturity, aligning with industry best practices.

• Contribute to the growth and maturity of our ITGC program. 
• Gain hands-on experience in IT audit and compliance processes. 
• Work with a dynamic team focused on continuous improvement and industry best practices. 

Essential Functions

• Monitor user access across various systems, ensuring proper provisioning and deactivation.
• Review and process change control tickets for completeness and compliance, offering recommendations for process improvements.
• Assist in strengthening ITGC program by identifying gaps and suggesting optimizations to enhance overall compliance.
• Support documentation efforts related to IT audits, ensuring accuracy and alignment with industry standards.
• Collaborate with teams to improve compliance processes and drive continuous program maturity. 

Qualifications & Skills

• Rising Junior or Senior working Towards a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience) with an interest in IT Security and Compliance.
• Interest in learning more about ITGC principles and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX, PCI DSS).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze change control processes.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration.

Experience with user access management and change management processes is a plus.
