We are seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to Lauren, who is an adult woman in her 30s, living with Muscular Dystrophy, and using a power wheelchair full-time for mobility. Lauren’s mobility challenges require comprehensive 24/7 assistance from a team of committed caregivers working to help maximize her independence and quality of life.

Lauren has severe muscle weaknesses and needs physical help with every aspect of her life. This job requires all aspects of complete hands-on personal caregiving and home assistance, including but not limited to helping Lauren with:  Showering, dressing, hair styling/makeup, physically lifting / transferring to and from wheelchair, using the bathroom, preparing meals, light cleaning, home maintenance, running errands, assisting with all daily tasks and activities, and various physical needs throughout a day.

Lauren has ZERO intellectual challenges. She has a long history of academic and professional success and maintains a busy lifestyle and career. Lauren is very laid-back, down-to-earth, fun-loving, genuine, and extremely kindhearted.

When supported by skilled and compassionate caregivers, Lauren enjoys an amazing, independent life despite having severe muscular weaknesses. The positive experiences and support provided by her caregivers have allowed Lauren to navigate her daily life with greater ease, empowering her to pursue her goals, engage in meaningful activities, and live her most fulfilling life possible.
