The Dishwasher maintains and sanitizes the kitchen work areas and restaurant equipment, utensils, dinnerware and floors in clean and orderly condition.  

Must be reliable and dependable, work as scheduled.

Uniforms provided.  One free meal per shift included.

Eligible for annual scholarship

 

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Washes dishes, pots, pans, utensils and equipment to approved sanitation standards.
  • Returns clean items back to their proper location.
  • Sweeps, mops and performs general cleaning.
  • Puts stock away.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • For those working in a lead role, additional duties include:
    • Provide leadership and instruction; Keep management apprised of overall operations;

Physical Demands/Work Environment

The Dishwasher position involves continuous physical cleaning work involving the washing of all cooking and serving items and the ability to return them to their proper location.  Additional physical tasks involve ability to wipe surfaces, mop floors, move stock/inventory items. Must follow safe use instructions for cleaning chemicals. Dish crew personnel must be able to assist with a variety of tasks such as food prep and stock room.  Must be able to repeatedly lift and carry 50 lbs.  Environment may include hot, cold, or humid temperatures and wet floors and loud noise.

A minimum of 10 work hours per week preferred.
