Intern - Mechanical Engineer

Intern - Mechanical Engineer

Essential Role and Responsibilities:

  • Execute drawing updates, author and follow ECO instructions.
  • Detail mechanical drawings.
  • Participate in initial mechanical design concept and design improvements of existing products.
  • Perform thermal analysis, and contribute to thermal design aspects.
  • Estimate vibration performance as it pertains to high-rel military electronics.
  • Operation vibration equipment and take surveys.
  • Review outstanding ECO activity.
  • Provide updated documentation in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Education Requirements 

  • Working towards Mechanical Engineering degree, and currently enrolled to complete desired degree
  • Advanced Math/Physics courses.
  • Basic understanding of electronics and electronic components.

Language Skills 

  • Effectively communicate both written and verbally in the English language.

Other Skills and Abilities 

  • Experience with 3-D modeling software.


Full-time schedules for Summer internships. (40 hour week) Approx. Start Date End of May/Beg of June. 

Internship salary is based on academic year standing.
