Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused Head of Operations to strategically lead and support customer onboarding, clinical training, ongoing customer support, and operational excellence initiatives. The ideal candidate is passionate about improving customer experiences, driving process efficiencies, and eager to learn clinical skills to support healthcare and government customers directly. You'll serve as the right-hand individual to leadership, working cross-functionally to streamline critical customer processes while developing hands-on clinical knowledge to meet our customers’ specialized needs.
Responsibilities:
- Drive excellence in clinical customer onboarding, ensuring a streamlined and detail-oriented experience for healthcare and government customers through training, individualized support, and effective resource management.
- Undergo clinical skills and product-specific training to directly support customers with clinical expertise; assist clinical staff and government stakeholders closely to ensure successful use of solutions and seamless integration into their workflow.
- Own the strategic execution of customer service processes, troubleshooting and quickly resolving complex clinical and technical customer inquiries and escalations in partnership with internal clinical and technical teams.
- Execute cross-functional projects clearly defined by leadership, ensuring that time-sensitive, mission-critical initiatives related to clinical and customer operations are delivered on schedule and exceed expectations.
- Manage contract timelines proactively to ensure renewal and compliance across healthcare and government sectors, working collaboratively with legal, sales, and clinical operations.
- Develop, monitor, and refine effective information-sharing processes between clinical, sales, customer success, and technical teams; communicate thoroughly to ensure alignment across organizational units and external stakeholders.
- Identify strategic opportunities to enhance customer and clinical operations; propose, develop, and launch new initiatives, tools, and processes to drive continuous improvement with leadership approval.
- Prepare clear and detailed briefings for internal and customer-facing meetings, distilling complex clinical and operational information into concise, actionable insights and disseminating effectively across teams.
- Ensure alignment of team priorities, translate company and founder objectives clearly to internal team members and external healthcare/government customers.
- Assist in structuring processes for new clinical and strategic partnerships and closely support due diligence efforts related to customer service and clinical operations.
Preferences:
- Bachelor’s degree (New grads encouraged to apply), ideally in Biology, Neuroscience, Political Science, Business, Healthcare Administration or related areas.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities; a customer-focused approach is essential. Healthcare, clinical, or public sector customer experience is a plus.
- Ability to adapt to evolving roles, shifting priorities, and eager to learn quickly in a dynamic, multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, able to coordinate multiple initiatives, balance priorities, and consistently deliver on mission-critical deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability for strategic thinking, implementing process improvements, and independently managing projects.
