Community Information Specialist

We're looking for a Community Information Specialist who can help shape and share the story of our organization. In this role, you’ll take the lead on planning and executing a wide range of public relations activities—from writing engaging content and designing eye-catching materials to coordinating events and building strong relationships with staff, students, and the wider community.

What You'll Bring to the Role:
• Strong writing and storytelling skills
• A creative eye for visual presentation and design
• Excellent communication and public speaking abilities
• The ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Experience with desktop publishing and digital media tools
• A collaborative spirit and a desire to make a difference

Minimum Qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Media, Communications, English, Journalism, the Humanities, or a related field
• OR
• An Associate’s degree in a related field plus one year of relevant experience in public, print, audio, or electronic media
• OR
• An equivalent combination of education and experience
