LEGACY CENTER HEAD LIFEGUARD

 


 

CLOSING DATE: May 3, 2025

PAY RATE: $14.32 - $17.19 per hour (depending on experience)

SCHEDULE: Various shifts: Monday - Saturday

DEPARTMENT: Recreation


 

JOB SUMMARY

 


 

  • Performs a variety of advanced pool-side and water safety duties.
  • Monitor water activities to assure safety.
  • Provide close supervision of all lifeguards including training, supervision, and evaluations.
  • Direct and perform general upkeep and custodial duties and other duties as assigned by aquatics managers.
  • Works under the general supervision of the Legacy Center Supervisor over aquatics and/or Aquatics Managers.


 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

 


 

  • Graduation from high school.
  • 2 years aquatics experience.
  • Current Red Cross lifeguard certification or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of rules and regulations of the aquatics facility.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Available to work Monday - Saturday: 4:30 am - 11 pm.
  • Able to pass a background check and drug test.


 

Employment in this position is conditional upon passing a pre-employment background and drug test.
